Networks & Wi-Fi

A network designed for your space and the devices you actually use, from a single router to a full UniFi system.

What we help with.

Wi-Fi coverage

Dead spots found and fixed with the right access points in the right places, not just a stronger router.

Professional equipment

Routers, switches and access points from UniFi and similar systems, chosen for your size and budget.

Wired connections and cabling

Ethernet runs to desks, TVs, cameras and access points, terminated and labeled, with tidy equipment areas.

Separate networks

Guests, smart-home devices and work computers kept apart, so one weak device cannot reach everything.

Remote access

Secure ways to reach your cameras, files or office from anywhere, without opening your network to the internet.

Internet troubleshooting

Modems, provider equipment, speed problems and dropouts diagnosed, so you know whether to call us or your provider.

How it works.

  1. Survey the space

We look at the layout, the building, your internet service and the devices that need to connect.

  2. Install and configure

The agreed equipment is installed, cabled where needed, and set up with sensible, secure settings.

  3. Verify and hand over

Coverage and speeds are checked room by room, and you get the admin access and a simple map of your network.

What to expect.

  • Equipment is recommended only after the survey, and you choose what to buy.
  • Cabling work is quoted after seeing the routes, so there are no surprises on the day.
  • You get the admin access to your own network and a simple map of how it is laid out.

Good questions.

Can you fix weak Wi-Fi without replacing everything?

Often, yes. Placement, settings and one well-placed access point solve many problems. The survey shows what is actually needed.

Do I need Ethernet cabling?

For access points, cameras and anything that stays in one place, a cable is more reliable than Wi-Fi. We plan runs only where they earn their keep.

Is UniFi overkill for a home?

Not for a larger home or one with many devices and cameras. For a small space, a simpler system may be the better buy, and we will say so.

Can you work with my internet provider’s equipment?

Yes. We can keep the provider’s modem and put proper Wi-Fi behind it, or replace what the provider allows.
